Another night of Nogi with Budo Jake and tonight's topic, is the Estima Lock! It seems like just yesterday that the Estima Brothers introduced the world to a never before seen submission they labeled the Estima Lock. Originally it was considered a straight foot lock and legal at blue belt. Since then, it's been recognized properly as a toe hold and only legal at brown belt and above.
Jake shows one of the most basic entries to this submission from an open guard position then follows it up on one of his favorite ways to escape.
